Maldon & Tiptree FC are pleased to announce the signing of Italian winger Yassin Fares from Rusthall FC.
Fares joins the Jammers with a record of scoring goals as well as creating chances from wide areas. In his first season at Rusthall, he scored 13 goals in 35 appearances as the club finished sixth in the 2022/23 Southern Counties East Football League Premier Division.
Originally from Italy, Fares moved to England in 2021 and spent time training with Barnet FC before joining Rusthall the following year. He went on to become a popular member of their squad, returning to action in 2024 after a lengthy injury absence.
With his pace, energy and eye for goal, Yassin adds another attacking option to the Maldon & Tiptree squad.
